It takes the grace of God to stay strong in any difficult situation. Yet, it is what must be done in order to experience victory in any area of one’s life. The confidence we have as believers is that, we are fighting a battle that has already been won. You may ask, if the battle has already been won, then why do I need to fight? Well, you need to fight to claim the victory that has been won for you. Whatever you need right now, has been made available in God, but you have an adversary, his name is satan and he does not want you to enjoy what Christ has purchased for you. That is the reason why, you must rise up and fight to claim what is yours.
This may be a reminder for many reading this and a new revelation to some others, either way, it is the truth. For example, if you need a healing, the good news is that, Christ has paid for it. The Bible says in 1Peter 2:24c that; “By whose stripes you were healed.” He paid the price for it, now, it is your responsibility to receive this as a personal revelation in your heart, not just as something you read or heard someone else talk about, but you must receive it personally for it to become a reality in your spirit. It is from this standpoint, that, you begin to claim your victory, commanding the enemy to take his hands off your body.
This principle goes for other areas of our lives. The work we must do, is to locate in the word of God, what it’s said about that particular situation, receive it as a personal revelation, stand on it, declare with our mouth and meditate on it, declaring it by faith again and again, without letting it depart, then, we will see the manifestation of that word.
The Bible says in Joshua 1:8, ” This Book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Go get your rightful inheritance! Do the work, locate what the word of God says about your situation, believe with your heart and confess with your mouth, stay in the place of faith till your victory manifests physically. Stay in the fight and don’t back down. Don’t let the enemy rob you. If in the process, there are things that must be made right, don’t hesitate, make them right.
Let me add that, many times, things may not change immediately, in some cases, some may even get worse but don’t be moved, keep standing. Act in faith in obedience to what God says. Do your part and watch God do His. Don’t let the enemy harass you, stand your ground firmly. Believe you receive what you are praying for, as long as it is in line with God’s will and purpose for your life, it will become a reality. Believe it is done, even when nothing in the natural shows the evidence.
See with the eyes of your heart what you expect to see happen, carry that mental picture and let your words be in agreement. The enemy will try to mess with your mind but don’t let him to get to you. Every time a thought of doubt, fear or unbelief hits your mind, respond with the word of faith. It will flee.
Remember the victory is already yours, stand your ground and claim your victory. You are an Overcomer!
